LAS CRUCES, N.M. (KRQE) – Changes are coming to New Mexico State University’s tailgating rules this football season. Parking lots will shut down two hours after the game or at midnight, whichever comes sooner.

For the non-student lots, tailgating will be allowed at 9 a.m. for games that start before 5 p.m. or 11 a.m. for evening games. There is no tailgating allowed during games but one person can stay behind to watch equipment. Tailgating is allowed up to 30 minutes before kickoff.
