Private nonprofits that provide governmental services are eligible for assistance. The Small Business Association may provide loans of up to $2 million to assist in repairs or replacements of damaged or destroyed equipment, real estate, inventory or other business assets. Loans may also be available for costs related to preventing damage from future disasters or loans for meeting working capital needs related to the flooding.

The interest rate will be 3.25% with terms of up to 30 years and interest does not accrue until 12 months after the funds are disbursed. The deadline to apply for property damage loans is October 21, 2024. The deadline to apply for economic injury loans is May 20, 2025. To apply, click here.
