RATON, N.M. (KRQE) – Investigators are asking the public for help identifying suspects who were involved in a shootout over the weekend in Raton. Colfax County Sheriff’s Office deputies said they were doing a traffic stop Saturday afternoon when they heard gunshots near Grant Ave. and East 5th St.

Deputies said a small, grey truck left the scene but was found several blocks away without the driver. Authorities said the driver was male, had dark hair, and wore a black shirt.
