Fall festivals and activities coming to New Mexico in 2024

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – The Autumn Equinox begins on September 22, and locals can find a variety of activities and celebrations to mark the upcoming season change.

If you’re looking to get in the mood for fall, check out the events listed below. They all take place in New Mexico and are listed in chronological order.

Harvest Wine Festival (Only available for 21+) • Information here
– When: August 31 to September 2
– Where: Balloon Fiesta Park
– Price: $30 or 2 for $50 (Monday guests can pay a reduced rate of $25, which is the same as military and first responders), designated drivers only have to pay $10

Autumn Ornaments Workshop • Information here
– When: September 27 and October 22
– Where: Los Poblanos Inn and Farm
– Price: $65 per person or $40 for guests of the inn

Harvest Craft Fair and Plant Sale • Information here
– When: September 27 and 28
– Where: Albuquerque Garden Center (10120 Lomas Boulevard NE)
– Price: Free

New Mexico Prickly Pear Festival • Information here
– When: September 28
– Where: Gutierrez Hubbell House
– Price: $13 for early birds, $10 for the main event, $8 for general admission on Friday with discounts for children, seniors, and veterans

Corrales Harvest Festival • Information here
– When: September 28 to 29
– Price: $15 per adult, and kids under 12 are free

Harvest Festival at Casa San Ysidro • Information here
– When: September 28 and 29
– Where: Casa San Ysidro (973 Old Church Road, Corrales)
– Price: Free

Aki Matsuri • Information here
– When : September 29
– Where : Expo New Mexico
– Price : $10

Santa Fe Harvest Festival • Information here
– When: October 5 to 6
– Where: El Rancho de las Golondrinas
– Price: Adults are $15, students/veterans/seniors are $13, and kids under 12 are free

Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta • Information here

– Where : Balloon Fiesta Park
– Price : $15 per person and free for kids under 12
