ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – If you are wondering why the tiger exhibit at the ABQ BioPark is closed, you might want to give them some privacy. As people walk through the new Asia habitats, there may be path closures or barriers around the Malayan tiger habitat.

Malayan tigers, Aya and Triton, are spending more time together which BioPark staff hope means the pair are preparing for a successful breeding season. The species is critically endangered with only 150 or fewer remaining in the world.
