CASSODAY, Kan. (KSNW) – A boil water advisory that was issued for the city of Cassoday in Butler County last week has been rescinded.

The advisory was issued by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment on Aug. 11 after a broken water line caused low pressure in the distribution system.

Laboratory testing samples collected from the City of Cassoday indicated no evidence of bacteriological contamination, and KDHE officials have deemed all other conditions that placed the system at risk of contamination resolved.

Those with consumer questions can contact the water system at 620-735-4252 or the KDHE at 785-296-5514 . For consumer information, visit the KDHE’s PWS Consumer Information webpage.
