City of Wichita hosting September career fairs

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The City of Wichita will host six career fairs in September.

The City has over 80 open positions with various departments. Applications are being accepted for all open positions, but there is an increased need to fill positions in the Wichita Police Department, Wichita Fire Department, Wichita Park & Recreation, Wichita Public Works & Utilities, and Wichita Transit.

District 1

District 2

• Time: 4-5:30 p.m.
• Location: Fire Station 20, 2255 S. Greenwich

District 3

• Date: Sept. 4
• Time: 4-5:30 p.m.
• Location: WATER Center, 101 E. Pawnee

District 4

• Date: Sept. 9
• Time: 4-5:30 p.m.
• Location: Alford Branch Library, 3447 S. Meridian

District 5

• Date: Sept. 4
• Time: 4-5:30 p.m.
• Location: Wichita Water Works Administration Building, 2120 N. Hoover Rd.

District 6

• Date: Sept. 9
• Time: 4-5:30 p.m.
• Location: Evergreen Community Center & Library, 2601 N. Arkansas
