NORTON COUNTY ( KSNT ) – A 20-year-old man from Lenora died Thursday after a multiple rollover crash in Norton County.

At 8:10 p.m., a 29-year-old woman was driving a 2001 Ford Explorer south on U283 Highway. The vehicle left the road to the right for an unknown reason, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP) crash log.

The vehicle came back onto the road, crossed the center line and then the driver overcorrected, the KHP said in the crash log.

The vehicle rolled multiple times before coming to rest in the northbound lane. The driver and a 75-year-old woman passenger were seriously injured. An occupant of the vehicle, 20-year-old Senquay R. Montes, was taken to an area hospital where they were later pronounced dead and their next of kin was notified.
