KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Starting on Sept. 13, an acclaimed horror movie director from Kansas City is bringing a brand new, bone-chilling haunted house to the metro.

EXILED: Crooked Rose Woods is the creation of Darren Lynn Bousman, director of blockbuster hits “Saw I” “Saw II,” “Saw III,” “Saw IV,” “Spiral,” and the cult favorite “Repo! The Genetic Opera.”

The haunted house, located in Bonner Springs, Kansas — approximately 25 minutes west of downtown Kansas City, Missouri — is an outdoor, immersive experience that is a “one-of-a-kind fusion of terror and immersive storytelling.”

Bousman and his team have kept all the specific details about EXILED under wraps, however, he did reveal one clue:

“This experience will be more than just a bunch of scare actors in a corn maze. It will be a living, breathing thing, and it will be too late when you realize what I mean by that.”

Tickets will range from $59 to $199 and go on sale Aug. 20. EXILED: Crooked Rose Woods will open from Friday, Sept. 13 through Saturday, Nov. 2, and the creators encourage the brave to get involved early via www.ExiledKC.com
