    Power outage impacts part of downtown Topeka

    TOPEKA ( KSNT ) – A part of downtown Topeka is currently experiencing power outage issues.

    As of 2:15 p.m., there are over 750 Evergy customers without power in downtown Topeka. The area being impacted includes part of Topeka High School and the blocks between Southwest 10th Avenue and Southwest 4th Street.

    According to the Evergy Outage map, the cause of the outage is currently unidentified. Restoration crews are currently waiting for the assignment. Power in the area is expected to be restored by 3:45 p.m.
