Six athletes with N.C. ties make cut to Paris Olympics
The U.S. Track and Field Olympic Trials wrapped up in Eugene, Oregon on Sunday with a handful of athletes with North Carolina ties booking a ticket to Paris. Charlotte native Anna Cockrell finished second in the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 52.64 seconds. The Providence Day alumna, who also competed in the Tokyo Olympics, graduated from University of Southern California in 2019.
