BISMARCK, ND ( KXNET ) — A large rummage sale is taking place over the weekend by Rebuilding Together Greater Bismarck/Mandan Area.

The sale will help to raise money for the program and upcoming home projects.

It’s happening at Rebuilding Together, located at 1105 East Main Ave., in Bismarck on Friday, August 9 from 5-8 p.m. and again on Saturday, August 10 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Since 1997, the chapter has been funded through grants, donations, and in-kind gifts with nearly 7,000 volunteers helping to rehabilitate 208 homes and/or area charitable non-profit sites in the Bis-Man community.

Rebuilding Together helps low-income homeowners, especially the elderly, people with disabilities, veterans, and families with children.

Those who are eligible for the program must be homeowners who live in the home, have homeowner’s insurance, owe no back taxes, and be unable to do the repairs.

Applications are being accepted for Rebuilding Day in May 2025 — those are due on September 30.
