BISMARCK, ND ( KXNET ) — Everyone is invited to join Governor Doug Burgum and First Lady Kathryn Burgum in attending the eighth Recovery Reinvented .

The event, which is dedicated to eliminating the shame and stigma of addiction, is happening at the Bismarck Event Center on October 30.

The free event does require registration, which you can do here ; however, if you’re unable to attend in person, you can watch the live stream.

The daylong event has state and national addiction and recovery experts who will focus on reinventing recovery through sharing stories, creating recovery-friendly cultures in the workplace and community, and eliminating the stigma surrounding the disease.

The keynote speakers include Dr. William Moyers, the vice president of public affairs and community relations at Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation ; Gregory Tatro, the co-founder and co-executive director of Jenna’s Promise; and Natasha Silver Bell, the founder and CEO of SilverBell Global.
