MERCER COUNTY, ND ( KXNET ) — It’s a ride to remember in Mercer County, and you’re invited.

This Sunday, the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office is inviting the public to experience the traveling memorial honoring Deputy Paul Martin.

On December 6, 2023, Deputy Paul Martin was killed during a high-speed pursuit along Highway 200.

He served the town of Beulah for 18 years as an officer. He was also a K-9 trainer, military veteran, as well as father and a grandfather.

The traveling memorial will kick start at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Riverside Park in Beulah.

The Mercer County Sheriff’s Office hopes citizens in the area can attend to honor Martin and his sacrifice.
