Mandan woman killed in Bismarck crash

BISMARCK, ND ( KXNET ) — An 81-year-old Mandan woman was killed Friday in a one-vehicle crash in Bismarck.

According to the Bismarck Police Department, the woman was a passenger in a truck traveling on Calgary Avenue around 12:30 p.m., August 9, when the vehicle left the roadway and crashed into numerous trees and a light pole.

The woman died at the scene and the truck driver, a 56-year-old Odessa, Texas man, was taken to the hospital with injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the Bismarck Police Department’s Traffic Division.
