FARGO, ND ( KXNET ) — Tony the Tiger and Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes are donating $12,000 at a check presentation next week to help fund middle school sports in North Dakota.

Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes teamed up with Coborn’s, the parent company of Cash Wise Foods, to bring Mission Tiger to North Dakota. The mission’s purpose is to fund middle school sports, and its donation will benefit 12 schools throughout the Peace Garden State, including two in Bismarck, one in Minot and one in Williston.

With this donation, Mission Tiger has provided funding to middle schools in all 50 states.

The check will be presented on Wednesday, Aug. 21 at the Cash Wise Foods in Fargo, located at 4907 Timber Parkway South. The celebration, featuring Tony the Tiger himself, will go from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
