    Williston man killed in motorcycle rollover crash

    WILLIAMS COUNTY, ND ( KXNET ) — A Williston man was killed in an accident on the afternoon of Saturday, August 17, after being ejected from his motorcycle roughly two miles north of Ray.

    According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, at approximately 12:28 p.m., a motorcycle was traveling northbound on 115th Avenue Northwest (Williams County Road 17) when it approached a left curve in the roadway near 115th Avenue NW and 66th Street NW. The motorcycle failed to negotiate the curve, entered the east ditch, and rolled.

    Motorcycle crashes up in North Dakota

    The driver of the motorcycle — a 76-year-old man from Williston — was ejected, and sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash. He was transported to Tioga Medical Center by ambulance, where he later passed away.

    The accident currently remains under investigation.
