HETTINGER, ND ( KXNET ) — Hettinger Public School previously had to cancel some of their football live streams after the computer they relied on to host them gave out. Now, they have started a GoFundMe to raise $2,500, so they can buy new technology and bring people their football games virtually.

“Unfortunately,” states the school’s Stream Team Advisor Joel Janikowski, “the computer we rely on for our portable live streams — like football and baseball — has reached the end of its journey. Despite our best efforts to fix it multiple times in the last year, we’ve realized that we need to order a new laptop to continue bringing you the live broadcasts from the HPS Stream Team that you’ve come to enjoy.”

So far, they have raised $1,540, and are just under $1,000 away from reaching their goal.

In the meantime, fans who want to listen to the school’s football games can tune in to KNDC, either on 1490 AM, 106.7 FM, or on their website at kndcradio.com .
