HAZELTON, ND ( KXNET ) — A woman was arrested after neighbors say she was causing trouble in Hazelton on the morning of Saturday, August 24.

The arrest took place on Saturday morning in Hazelton, when authorites say a man called the sheriff’s office and said Amber Reamann was driving recklessly around town. He noted that he’d seen her crash into a tree.

An affidavit states that another woman who owns a bar in the town said Reamann showed up at her house, woke her up, and threatened to fight her if she didn’t open early and serve Reamann. It also showed that another woman also called to say that Reamann showed up at her house, and offered her ‘100 bucks’ if she’d let Reamann in.

An Emmons County sheriff’s deputy then showed up and arrested Reamann. He says as he was putting the suspect in a patrol vehicle, she kicked him in the chest.

Reamann appeared in court in Linton on Tuesday afternoon. She’s being charged with three felony counts — including Burglary, Assault on a Peace Officer, and Preventing Arrest — as well as misdemeanor counts of Reckless Driving and Disorderly Conduct. A judge set her bond at $2,500.

Reamann’s trial is scheduled to take place on January 9.
