High school students, recent graduates, can attend summer program for skilled trades

SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Community College is offering a summer program for rising juniors, seniors, and Class of 2024 graduates that allows students to explore different trades.

The 2-week workshop will give students basic knowledge in shop construction, safety, professional development in trades and more.

The program is Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., June 20 - July 3.

Skilled Trades Exploration

High school graduates that are at least 18 years old can also participate in an 11-week Skilled Trades prep course which is offered in the Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters at SCC.
