    WSU adds Iceland standout Tomas Thrastarson

    PULLMAN, Wash. -- Washington State men's hoops has added Tomas Thrastarson from Iceland.

    It's the seventh player WSU has added since David Riley took over as head coach.

    The 6-6 Thrastarson averaged 17 points and six rebounds a game in Iceland's First League.

    He was a standout on his U18 and U20 national team.
