Kootenai County Sheriff's Office and police conduct joint training

KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho - Today, the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office (KCSO) and Coeur d'Alene Police Department Joint Agency SWAT team will hold a training on Lake Pend Oreille into Bonner County.

The team will experience live fire operations and shore scenarios this afternoon.

KCSO said the goal of the SWAT Team training is to prepare local resources for potential situations that may incur while charged with protecting and keeping citizens safe.

This training is to provide proficiency and competency for the team; in case an incident occurs.
