    Renovated basketball and pickleball courts coming to Underhill Park

    SPOKANE, Wash. — A newly renovated sports court is coming to Underhill Park north of Lincoln Heights.

    The renovations will include two renovated basketball courts, two dedicated pickleball courts, new sidewalks, lighting, and fence upgrades.

    The project will replace aging basketball and tennis courts.

    Construction begins Monday, Aug. 19, and will temporarily close the courts.

    The project is expected to be finished by the end of the year, weather permitting, with new landscaping completed in the spring.
