61,000 fentanyl pills seized, 3 men indicted in alleged Spokane drug bust
SPOKANE, Wash. — Three men were indicted Monday on federal drug charges just days after they were arrested in an alleged drug bust in Spokane. According to the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Washington, Osvaldo Guadalupe Soto-Orduno, Jose Roman Lizarraga-Gerardo and Jose Efrain Gonzalez-Rodriguez were charged with conspiracy to distribute 400 grams or more of a mixture containing fentanyl and 500 grams or more of a mixture containing meth.

SPOKANE, Wash. — A man was arrested after Spokane sheriff's said he punched multiple passing vehicles in north Spokane, causing some significant damage. On June 30, around 7:25 p.m., the Spokane County Sheriff's Office responded to West Hastings Road and North Mill Road. Callers reported that a man was walking into traffic, trying to punch cars.
70-year-old man man sentenced to over 31 years for murder
SPOKANE, Wash. — A 70-year-old man was sentenced to over 31 years after he murdered a man in 2022. Duarte A. Cordero shot and killed Joey V. Cortez in Aug. 2022 in Spokane’s West Central neighborhood. Police responded to the area of 1309 W. Shannon Avenue, where they found Cortez with a gunshot wound.
Washington pair charged with trafficking meth in Shoshone
WALLACE –– A pair of arrests during a traffic stop on Thursday night yielded trafficking amounts of methamphetamine. Deputies from the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office seized approximately a half pound of meth during a traffic stop on Thursday. The occupants of the vehicle, Nora Rosner, 43, and Jason Schaller, 43, both from the Spokane area, were arrested.
