    Brush fires contained along I-90 near Liberty Lake and Stateline

    LIBERTY LAKE, Wash. -- The Spokane Valley Fire Department has contained two brush fires burning along I-90 between Liberty Lake and Stateline.

    According to SVFD, the brush fire began around 11:30 a.m.

    After arriving, SVFD discovered a second fire near Appleway Overpass.

    SVFD said the cause of the fires are under investigation.

    No one was hurt and no buildings were damaged from the fires.

    SVFD says drivers should expect delays in the area and slow down in the area.
