Firefighters respond to wheat field fire near Culdesac

NEZ PERCE COUNTY, Idaho. -- Fire crews responded to a 40-acre fire near Culdesac on Sunday evening.

According to KOZE News, multiple agencies were called around 5:45 p.m. on August 18 to fight the 40-acre wheat field fire near milepost 286 along Highway US 95.

multiple helicopters were also called to assist.

As of 6:40 p.m. on Sunday, no buildings or people are at risk and no evacuations have been ordered.
