Pikes Peak Pride at Alamo Square Park June 8 & 9

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The annual Pikes Peak Pride event will take place at Alamo Square Park in Downtown Colorado Springs on June 8 and 9, and a full week of festivities will lead up to the “Unite With Pride” themed event.
According to organizers, all festival events this year, including the Blake Lewis concert, are free to attend, ensuring everyone can join in the celebration of diversity and inclusion.
Festival Highlights:
Main Stage Performances: Live entertainment both days, featuring Kylie Sonique Love, RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 6 winner, on Saturday, June 8.
Educational Opportunities: Sessions from 12-5 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, at the UCCS Downtown classroom.
Youth Square: Special programming for young folks, including activities like an open mic, art contests, and performances.
Food and Vendors: Explore a variety of food options and over 130 vendors.
Blake Lewis – Live in Concert: Saturday, June 8, 8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., free performance by Blake Lewis, runner-up on American Idol Season 6.
Pikes Peak Pride Parade: Sunday, June 9, starting at 11 a.m., Along Tejon St. from Platte Avenue to Vermijo Avenue, featuring over 70 different organizations marching in the parade.
Special Events Leading Up to the Main Celebration:
Tuesday, June 4: Raise Hell for a Reason fundraiser, 4-7 p.m. at Seven’s Gate
Wednesday, June 5: Pride Ride by Pike Ride, starting at Streetcar 520 at 6 p.m.
Friday, June 7: Pride Crosswalk Installation, on South Tejon Street at East Vermijo Avenue, 5:45 a.m. – 6:45 a.m.
Saturday, June 8: 7th Annual Rosie Run, organized by the National Association of Women in Construction, starting at 8:30 a.m. in America the Beautiful Park.
