    Four arrested and allegedly found with 50 pounds of copper wire

    (COLORADO SPRINGS) — Four people were arrested after the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) responded to a burglary call in the evening hours of Thursday, Aug. 15 and police said officers found 50 pounds of copper wire when they arrested the suspects.

    According to CSPD, on Thursday at around 10:30 p.m. offices were called to a burglary at a home under construction in the 3500 block of Mission Bay Court, which is near the intersection of Tutt Boulevard and North Carefree Circle.

    The suspects had left the area before officers arrived, however, police were able to get suspect information and relayed it to others in the area. The suspect vehicle was soon found and four people were arrested.

    The four were found with over 50 pounds of copper wire, along with methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

    • Michael Riffe
    • Kylee O’Grady
    • Patrizia Carey
