Donate canned goods at Colorado State Fair, get free entry on Tuesday

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado State Fair is underway and visitors can get in free on Tuesday, August 27 with the donation of two canned goods.

Donations from “Two Can Tuesday” will go to Care and Share Food Bank of Southern Colorado and Nate Springer, President and CEO, said they are hoping to collect more than 10,000 pounds of food.

He joined FOX21 Morning News on Monday, August 26th to talk about the drive and the need for food assistance in the community.
