Floridians know that it's not at all unusual to go to a shopping center for both food or clothing shopping as well as eating out. These shopping centers are often somewhat large, and they allow you to park once and visit many places. It's also not unusual for these shopping centers to change hands. I recently wrote about Florida's The Fountains selling for a loss as The Shoppes at Monterra Commons - selling a mere year after opening. And now we can add Pompano Beach's Palm Aire Marketplace to the list.

About Palm Aire Marketplace: This Pompano Beach shopping center measures 140,312 square feet and is close to I-95 and the Florida Turnpike. It enjoys access to a busy intersection that has a traffic count of over 80,000 cars.

Some of the stores in the shopping center are CVS, Dollar Tree, Presidente Supermarket, and dd’s Discounts.

Patrons and visitors have reviewed Palm Aire Marketplace over 2,000 times on Google reviews and give it 4.2 out of 5 on Google reviews.

Some note its convenience. A reviewer named Tasha wrote:

"This is a busy plaza and has a variety of shopping selections and major banks. There is a CVS as well. You can take care of your errands and grab a bite to eat too."

The Recent Sale For A Profit: In mid-August of 2024, Pompano Realty USA LLC and Mario and Alberto Guzman sold the shopping center to Boston-based private equity firm Longpoint Realty Partners for $33.1 million.

The shopping center last sold in 2016 for $28.25 million, so the sale netted a profit.
