A New Florida Publix Is Reportedly Planned For A New FL Shopping Center

If you are a Floridian, you know that it's not at all unusual for Publix to regularly build new stores in the Sunshine State. I've recently written about how Publix currently has 21 new Publix stores listed as "coming soon" on its website. And if recent permits in Manatee County are any indication, there may be one more in Bradenton.

There are currently five Publix locations in Bradenton. Generally, speaking Publix stores in the area are well-received. For example, a Publix at Bradenton Commons has been reviewed over 2,400 times and gets 4.5 out of 5 stars on Google reviews.

Many mention the cleanliness of the store and the attentive customer service. A reviewer named Jennifer wrote:

"The layout of the store is different than the newer ones, but very easy to find everything we were looking to buy. Very clean store as with all Publix stores we have been in. And everyone working (was) very pleasant and courteous. Thanks to all for a great shopping experience today. Will be back in the future."

The New Upcoming Publix: According to the Bradenton Herald, building permit applications have been filed in Manatee County for a 55,454-square-foot Publix for the new Northchase Plaza located at 16600 State Road 64 East.

No opening date for the Publix has been announced. This would be the sixth Bradenton for Manatee County.

Employees for Publix rate it 3.9 out of 5 stars on Indeed. Many say that it is a good job with generous benefits, but some say expectations are high and there is favoritism amongst management.
