    Steam players visit children's museum

LA CROSSE (WKBT) -- The Steam softball team paid a visit to the Children's Museum Friday afternoon.

A few teammates spent time with children playing games, making crafts and even partook in some climbing at the museum. Friday's visit is part of their promotional tour, as they meet and connect with various organizations in the community.

The museum director expressed that Friday was a special one for the kiddos.

"I know that the Loggers organization as well as the Steam organization are really committed to the community and to the kids in La Crosse, so this was just a win-win for both organizations," says Ann Christianson, executive director of the Children's Museum.

The Steam will be back at the Children's Museum Monday, July 21st. They are also hosting a game Wednesday, July 24th where half of all ticket proceeds will go towards the Children's Museum. You can get your ticket with promo code here.
