Salvation Army La Crosse launches 'Love One Another' July giving campaign

LA CROSSE (WKBT) -- The Salvation Army of La Crosse County is launching a fundraising campaign for the month of July.

The "Love One Another - July Giving Campaign" is a first for the Salvation Army, asking residents to make donations throughout the summer month to support their operations and programs.

The new campaign is in addition to the traditional Red Kettle Campaign held annually throughout the holidays.

More than 280 meals are served to over 60 people each day -- a 40% increase in demand from 2023, according to the Salvation Army.

Costs of providing their services have risen as well, Salvation Army staff said.
