Miura goes deep as Loggers end homestand with 8-4 win over Minot

The La Crosse Loggers hosted the Minot Hot Tots for a Northwoods League Baseball matchup.

The Loggers entered the contest with a 27-23 record on the season but have already clinched their spot in the NWL playoffs.

La Crosse got the scoring started early scoring 3 runs in the first inning. RJ Hamilton drove in two of those runs with a single up the middle.

Then in the second inning, Matthew Miura would send one over the left field wall for a 3 run home run.

Loggers would hold off a late rally as they would secure the win 8-4.

Up next for La Crosse, the Loggers will travel to Wisconsin Rapids for a road game on Saturday, July 20th
