Arrest Warrant Issued For Torrington Woman In Major Drug Trafficking Scheme
CASPER — A Torrington woman is being sought by authorities in connection to a statewide fentanyl and meth trafficking ring that was busted in March. Circuit Court Judge Brian Christensen signed an arrest warrant for Charvel Nalene Martinez, 25, on Friday, who the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation alleges conspired to traffic fentanyl and meth to Casper.
Gering City Council approves 2023 annual audit report

Over the past several weeks, severe storms have damaged crops in the North Platte Valley and the Panhandle with heavy rainfall, hail, high winds, and low-land flooding. The National Weather Service reported a confirmed EF-1 tornado on Thursday, June 20, which damaged homes, crops, and pivots along a two-mile path between Morrill and Mitchell, Neb. Hailstorms in the southern Panhandle have damaged the winter wheat crop. Heavy rainfall also flooded fields and county roads.

Torrington, WY (Colyer Funeral Home) June 24th, 2024 — James Leroy Bye met his Lord and Savior on June 18, 2024. He was born in Torrington, WY on October 29, 1972. Graveside service will be held July 2, 2024, at 10 am at the La Grange Cemetery. He was active in little league baseball as a youngster. He later moved to Texas where he graduated from New Diana High School with honors in 1991. He then attended Texas A & M and studied Wildlife Management. He moved back to Nebraska to take care of his father in the mid 1990’s. He met Lynette Kessler in 2009 and married her in 2010. they moved La Grange in 2012 where he spent his final years. He never gave up his love of the outdoors and wildlife. He loved to share his knowledge with the younger generations. He also had a love for children and helped raise many that were not his as well as young adults who were struggling.

Jeremy Torres appealed his felony convictions on charges of attempted first-degree murder, use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony, second-degree assault on a law enforcement officer and tampering with a witness.
