IU basketball 2026 recruiting target Steven Reynolds III likes to watch Hood-Schifino
Indiana doesn’t have a long, storied history of successfully recruiting players from South Bend, Ind. Damezi Anderson is the most recent example, but you had to go back to the 70s to find a South Bend product who went to IU before him. And the northern Indiana city has certainly produced talent in recent years, with NBA guards Blake Wesley and Jaden Ivey both playing high school basketball in the area in the last five years.
Notre Dame swaps jerseys at halftime of 1985 blowout win over USC
One of the most famous games in the Notre Dame-USC rivalry came in 1977. The Irish warmed up on the field in their regular blues, but they returned for the game wearing green, and they won that game. Fast forward to the teams’ 1985 meeting. Gerry Faust decided to do what predecessor Dan Devine did, but he didn’t do it in the same way. Rather, the Irish played the first half in their blues before sporting green for the second half of a 37-3 blowout win. Faust explained his decision-making afterwards: USC vs Notre Dame (1985)*the original jersey swap pic.twitter.com/Rft0aMkxmx — College Football...

Sam Hartman shares his first screenshot of EA Sports NCAA College Football 2025
The early access for EA Sports College Football 2025 dropped on Monday, and many, including former Notre Dame football quarterbackSam Hartman fired up their consoles. The current Washington Commanders player shared on social media that he had to get some frustrations out, but not with his most recent former team, the Irish. Hartman routed Clemson using Wake Forest, scoring 105 while allowing 34 points. It makes plenty of sense for him to target the Tigers, as he faced them four separate times in his collegiate career, each of them resulting in a loss for Hartman’s teams. His best shots came this past season and in 2022 when they battled into a second overtime. Just blowing off some steam… 😅😂 @EASPORTSCollege pic.twitter.com/XR406xjLMR — Sam Hartman (@sam_hartman10) July 16, 2024 Hopefully Hartman picks up the sticks with Notre Dame soon, and shares another moment of him blowing off some steam. Notre Dame Opponent Preview | Virginia
Life moves fast in college football. At one time Tony Elliott was viewed as one of the top assistants in the country back when he was the primary play-caller at Clemson. From 2015-2020, Clemson finished in the top-15 in OF+ (combined FEI and SP+ rankings) each season. Elliott was considered as someone who was going to get a big time head coaching job and he could even choose to wait to find the perfect fit much like Kirby Smart did after running the defense at Alabama.

2025 High 4-Star Derek Meadows: A Closer Look at an Elite Talent
Written by Cade Harper ⏐ Writer ⏐ Twitter (X): @CadeHarperIT. Photo via Derek Meadows (Instagram) 247 Sports' Tom Loy logged a prediction back in January of this year in favor of the Irish to land Derek Meadows, an elite receiving talent out of Nevada. Since then, multiple SEC schools have emerged, making this an all out war for the 6'6" 200 pound wideout, with Alabama & LSU being the main competitors. Despite the crystal ball, the leader to land Meadows seems unclear at this point. Meadows was initially supposed to make his decision on July 13th, but he has since rescheduled his commitment for July 20th at 3:00 PM EST to contemplate the biggest decision of his early career with his family. Notre Dame has kept themselves in a tight race thus far, and are now taking all the necessary steps in hopes of finally adding an elite receiving piece to this class. Before he makes his decision, I am going to breakdown what he can bring to this already talented class, and how big of a statement it would make in the recruiting realm for the Irish.
