Summerville police ramp up DUI checkpoints for safer July 4th celebrations
SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) — The Summerville Police Department (SPD) will be out in full force with extra patrols and checkpoints July fourth and fifth. The check points will be held between the hours of 6 p.m. and 2 a.m. on July fourth and fifth at North Maple Street, Nexton Parkway, Brighton Park Blvd, Sigma Drive, West Richardson Avenue, West Boundary Street and South Main Street.
