Brookgreen Gardens, a National Historic Landmark, will present a captivating lineup of events this August. Highlights include the continuation of the mesmerizing Summer Light: Art by Night exhibition, where the Gardens transform into a radiant wonderland, complemented by the Southern Food Ways exhibition, featuring weekly culinary events that celebrate the rich flavors and traditions of Southern cuisine. Newly renovated Candle Studio welcomes guests to craft unique scents in Charleston
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Charleston Candle Co. recently unveiled a newly renovated candle-making workshop, billed “The Candle Studio." The renovated candle-making worship – located at Charleston Candle Co.'s flagship store on St. Phillip Street – gives patrons the opportunity to learn how to create and pour custom candles. The candle studio has been open for a few years. However, it is only recently that the store renovated its design.
South Carolina baseball team to play Air Force, College of Charleston this fall
COLUMBIA, S.C. — The University of South Carolina baseball team will play two scrimmages against outside competition this fall, it was announced Wednesday afternoon (July 24). The Gamecocks will host Air Force on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 2 p.m. and head to the College of Charleston on Thursday, Nov. 7 at 6 p.m.
