LAFAYETTE, Ind. — 2024's ILEARN testing showed varied results across Tippecanoe County schools, but overall scores were comparable to statewide averages, seeing slight increases in English language arts scores while math stood virtually unmoved.

Statewide results released Wednesday by the Indiana Department of Education showed 41% of Hoosier students were proficient in ELA standards and 40.7% proficient in math standards, while 30.8% are proficient in combined scores.

Faith Christian School and Lafayette Christian School were not listed in the Indiana Department of Education report.

The ILEARN assessments are taken by students in person on computers, adapting to the student as the test progresses.
