"Dr. Day has done a tremendous job leading Battle Ground Middle School for the last eight years," TSC superintendent Scott Hanback said. in the release. "Based on her wealth of educational leadership experience, she is going to be an excellent fit for this position."

As director of Student Services, Day will coordinate state-mandated testing, administer grants and oversee various prevention and intervention services for students and their families.

"It is with great excitement that I am transitioning to this new role as director of Student Services," Day said in the release. "I look forward to fostering an environment where every student's needs are met and their potential is nurtured to the fullest extent."

Laurie Rinehart will return to TSC after serving in the Lafayette School Corp. most recently as an assistant superintendent for secondary education. Previously, Rinehart served as assistant principal at McCutcheon High School and at Wea Ridge Middle School and has 10 years of teaching experience, primarily in a special education classroom.

"Dr. Rinehart has an outstanding record of educational leadership skills," Hanback said. "We're thrilled that someone with Dr. Rinehart's rich experiences and passion for student learning is returning to the TSC team as principal of Battle Ground Middle School."

Rinehart said in the release she is eager to begin working alongside Battle Ground Middle School's staff, students and families.

"I believe in the power of teamwork and open communication, and I am committed to creating a culture of trust and mutual respect," Rinehart said. "I am excited to return to working with students and teachers every day."
