Vehicle Hits Light Pole at Busy Intersection in Lafayette, Louisiana

Lafayette Crime Stoppers posted a video on social media that shows a black SUV hitting a light pole in Lafayette, and then driving away from the scene.

The incident was caught on camera from the intersection of Moss and Willow St.

You can see bystanders from a nearby business rush to see what happened as the black SUV drives away, all while a traffic signal is in the middle of the road.

This incident happened on June 4, 2024, but we are just seeing this video now, which may indicate that police are still looking for the vehicle that hit the pole.

No one appeared to be injured in this crash, but what a wild scene from a busy intersection in Lafayette.
