One Chick-fil-A Location in Hammond, Louisiana Has Caused Some Controversy This Summer. This Chick-fil-A wanted to help parents out and they decided to host a few day-long summer camps for children from age five to twelve. This summer camp is supposed to help kids learn life skills and ultimately teach them how to work at Chick-fil-A. Do the kids get paid? Nope, however, parents do have to pay $35 per day. So basically, your kids get to roleplay, instead of playing house they get to play Chick-fil-A.
Southeastern Professor named Fulbright Scholar
Southeastern Louisiana University Assistant Professor of Sociology and Criminal Justice Joshua McDermott has been selected to receive a Fulbright U.S. Scholar fellowship. Southeastern’s Jay Artigues to chair 2025 NCAA Division I Baseball Committee
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Southeastern Louisiana University Director of Athletics Jay Artigues has been selected to serve as the chair of the NCAA Division I Baseball Committee in 2024-25. Artigues is entering his fourth year on the committee which is responsible for selecting, seeding and bracketing the entire 64-team NCAA Tournament field. In addition, the committee is tasked with recommending rule changes and revisions to the NCAA Baseball Rules Committee.
