17-year-old arrested after trash collector finds remains of missing runaway teen in Tennessee
HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (TCN) -- A 17-year-old suspect is in custody after allegedly killing a runaway juvenile whose remains were found near a wooded area last week. On the evening of June 29, the Macon County Sheriff's Office received a report that 17-year-old Trinity Bostic was missing. Investigators spoke with relatives and friends in the hope of finding her. Using Bostic’s cellphone number, deputies tracked her location in Sumner County and contacted local officials. Despite their attempts, authorities were unable to find Bostic.

Matt Matthews Appointed UT System Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs
KNOXVILLE — The University of Tennessee System has named Matt Matthews as associate vice president for academic affairs. He will begin the role on Aug. 15. In this role, Matthews will provide leadership and coordination in academic policy, programs, reporting and other academic initiatives. He will work collaboratively with campus chief academic officers and their staffs, as well as various system- and campus-level units, to promote greater alignment, collaboration and communication across the UT System.
