Carolyn Quinlan Murray, 98, who lived for many years in Montville, N.J., and Greenport, N.Y., died peacefully in assisted living in Macungie, on July 5, 2024. Also known as Carol and “CQ,” she was born Dec. 2, 1925, in the Borough of the Bronx, New York City, the daughter of Maurice Quinlan and Caroline Galdon Quinlan.
Tennessee man sexually assaulted child in N.J., cops say
A man from Tennessee is facing multiple charges after it was alleged that he sexually assaulted a child in Morris County. Rony Oviedo-Buezo, 32, of Nashville, has been charged with two counts of aggravated sexual assault, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of each of sexual assault and attempted aggravated sexual assault, the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office said in a news release.

It is with great sadness that we share that Alan Kenneth Speiser passed away Monday evening, July 1, at his home in Livingston, surrounded by his family. He was 70 years old. Alan was a beloved son to Harry and Edythe; husband to Elaine; father to his two children, Gillian and Matthew; and friend to countless others. His humor, levity, and compassion could raise the spirits of any room he walked into.

As such, the Township has created an application package for the issuance of permits for hunting white-tailed deer on designated Franklin Township Open Space preserves and lands.
Tennessee man charged with sexually assaulting child in Morris County
DOVER, NJ (Morris County) – A Tennessee man is accused of sexually assaulting a girl in Dover, according to Morris County Prosecutor Robert Carroll. Rony Oviedo-Buezo, 32, of Nashville was charged with two counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault, second-degree attempted aggravated sexual assault, second-degree sexual assault, second-degree endangering the welfare of a child sexual conduct, and second-degree endangering the welfare of a child abuse/neglect.

Joseph C. Wassmer, 65 of Lords Valley, Pa., passed away very unexpectedly in the still early morning hours of July 15, 2024. He was a faithful husband and loving protector of his wife and children. As a loving father, and a simple man he only wanted the love of his close family circle. Though not perfect, he formed the habit of saying “If it’s God’s will” in every situation. His favorite hobby besides spending close family time, was playing guitar/singing and retelling stories of the “good” old days. His staunch devotion to the Rosary, his firm guidance, strong emotional support and sarcastic humor was the actual heartbeat of the Wassmer household.
