Sparta Board of Education Amends Attendance Policy
SPARTA, NJ – The board of education is moving to update the attendance policy to reflect recent changes in state statute. Policy 5200 “Attendance" is being amended to change the definition of an “excused absence.” The student must provide a “doctor’s note” or one from the dentist, proving there was an appointment for the absence to be excused. Tennessee man charged with sexually assaulting child in Morris County
DOVER, NJ (Morris County) – A Tennessee man is accused of sexually assaulting a girl in Dover, according to Morris County Prosecutor Robert Carroll. Rony Oviedo-Buezo, 32, of Nashville was charged with two counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault, second-degree attempted aggravated sexual assault, second-degree sexual assault, second-degree endangering the welfare of a child sexual conduct, and second-degree endangering the welfare of a child abuse/neglect.
