Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center Announces Historic Gift from Andrea and Anthony Melchiorre to Support New Cancer Center
(BPT) - Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center (CBMC), an RWJBarnabas Health facility, has received a visionary gift of $30 million from Andrea and Anthony Melchiorre to support the new multidisciplinary standalone cancer center now under construction on the hospital campus in Livingston, New Jersey. The Melchiorre Cancer Center at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center will open in 2025.

Road Closures in Madison Scheduled for Thursday July 18 and Friday July 19
MADISON, NJ - Seven roads in Madison will be paved beginning Thursday July 18 and continuing into Friday July 19, announced borough officials. Residents are encouraged to relocate vehicles between 8am and 3:30pm. The roadway will remain closed and inaccessible for multiple hours after paving concludes to allow the asphalt to cure.

Full Moon Hike at the Great Swamp Wildlife Refuge is hosted by The Great Swamp Watershed Association (GSWA) from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23. Guests should park at the Bluebird Parking Lot on Wood Duck Way in Basking Ridge. July's Full Moon is known as the "Buck Moon" named after the antlers of male deer, which are at their full size in July before they shed them. All are welcome to join in on this guided hike, led by a GSWA naturalist, to discover some gentle nighttime creatures. July at the Refuge is a perfect backdrop to hear and spot owls and a family-friendly opportunity. This hike is free to all, but of course, donations are appreciated.
