Now the State Champs: Hanover Township 12U Girls Softball Majors Will Face Maryland on Sunday
HANOVER TOWNSHIP, NJ - The Hanover Township 12U Girls Softball Majors Allstar team is now officially the New Jersey State Champions! They are headed to represent New Jersey in the Mid-Atlantic Regional Tournament in Bristol, Connecticut this weekend.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TAPINTO.NET NEWSLETTER Because it was a double elimination tournament, Toms River needed to beat Hanover Township twice, which they did not do. On Tuesday evening, the girls' team lost to Toms River 7 - 0 but went on to beat them on Wednesday night 6 - 4 which secured their title as State Champions. Former Marine, Morris County Sheriff's Detective Robert Forte Joins Chatham Township Police Department
CHATHAM, NJ -- Former Marine and Morris County Sheriff's Office Detective Robert Forte was officially sworn in as a new member of the Chatham Township Police Department by Mayor Stacey Ewald on Tuesday night. Forte enlisted in the US Marine Corps in 2012 and served as an ammunition technician until 2016. Milkshake is looking for his forever home!
Our little Milkshake isn’t so little anymore. We can’t imagine a better #FeelGoodFriday post than this. A few weeks ago, our rescue partners found Milkshake abandoned at a dump site in rural Mississippi. He was emaciated, severely dehydrated, loaded with worms and ticks, and covered in crusty, infected skin. Despite the crippling heat and look of utter defeat on his face, Milkshake wandered right up to his rescuers, tail wagging, sensing that help had finally arrived.
