Section of Truitt Avenue and Douglas Street Closed to Traffic

LaGrange, Ga. July 31, 2024 – A section of Truitt Avenue, from Short Street to Miller Street, and Douglas Street, from West Mulberry Street to the dead end, will be closed to traffic on Thursday, Aug. 1.

West Mulberry Street, from Douglas Street to South Greenwood Street, continues to be closed to traffic. CSX is conducting regular maintenance work on the railroad.

Construction is expected to be completed by the end of the weekend. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes.
