WINTER HAVEN, Fla. — A mother is making a plea for answers after her daughter was stabbed to death late Friday in Winter Haven. According to Winter Haven Police, the woman, identified by family as 26-year-old Ashley Snell, was stabbed multiple times behind the old Banyan Beach Motel. A witness said the woman was involved in an argument with an unknown man before he hit her multiple times, according to police.

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – A single-vehicle crash in Winter Haven early this morning has led to widespread power outages for businesses along Havendale Blvd. Around 4:48 a.m., a gold Honda Accord heading east on Havendale Blvd. veered off the road at 16th St. and collided with a power pole, severing it completely.
