MOOSIC, Pa. - The IronPigs slugged three home runs in the first two innings and went on to defeat Scranton/Wilkes-Barre 7-5 on Thursday night at PNC Field. After more than a one-hour rain delay, Lehigh Valley got to work. Weston Wilson and Buddy Kennedy singled and Ruben Cardenas drilled his 19th home run of the season for a 3-0 lead. Nick Podkul followed with a solo shot two batters later. Darick Hall would add a two-run blast in the second inning for all the runs the visitors would need.
